Reading is the art of obtaining, trough words, knowledge. Understanding reading as a cognitive process, in which we introduce ourselves into diferent cultures and not solely as the act of reading, enriches the way we look at society.
Reading is culture, to read is to gain culture. Not without reason, since the origins of time, civilizations have work hard to find different manners of comunication or something that could allow them to trascend over time. This was accomplished over writting, making us fall in the logic of enforcing a reading habbit as an integral part of the human development.
