What is Applied Linguistics?

Because it is such an interdisciplinary field, we can see that answering this question is not an easy task. Many author throughout different generations have tried to define it as their own beliefs on the matter. For that reason, we have been asked to create a c-map that could help visualizing what Applied Linguistics is all about.
