Tasked-based instruction is a teaching method which is used to teach through different tasks or “problem-solving” negotiations.

Applying this methodology within the classroom means that students will interact with one another in order to fulfill a task given by the teacher in order to acquire new knowledge by significate learning.

Reflection

Firstly it would be relevant to point out that this activity was based on this method. We were asked to form groups and to do some research on a teaching approach in order to present it later in front of our classmates.

As we can see, the task required peer interaction, active participation, negotiation of meaning and problem solving situation. We did not only learn about task-based method but also about group work, working with online tools and improving our speaking skills.
